Our story began over 50 years ago with the vision of our founder, Claudette B. Fennidy. Ms. Fennidy, a pillar of the community, founded Candyland Kinder Kollege with a simple yet profound purpose: to create a nurturing and enriching environment where every child could learn, grow, and feel loved.
Ms. Fennidy's unwavering dedication and warm heart established a legacy that continues to define our program today. Her commitment to the children of Jefferson Parish was so impactful that she was honored with the naming of the Claudette B. Fennidy Splash Pad at Johnny Jacobs Playground. Her spirit lives on in our mission and in the countless lives she touched.
